Guilstag 19 th Sommerzeit After a bit of a think, Max said that the shark symbol might be Stromfels who he thought was some sort of aspect or rival of Manann, or something like that, but he didn’t sound very convinced. You decided to head north-ish along the unexplored part of the cavern, and after a while you came to a narrowing that you would have to crawl to get through. And the noticeably strong breeze coming through the gap smelled terrible. So, Illuminated by one of Balden’s lights, Berta got on her knees and began crawling through the gap, but pretty soon the smell got nauseating, and she realised she would have to crawl through shit or something to get through. So she came back and suggested you try one of the water-logged caverns you had passed earlier, instead. So Max went back to the Manann sail room, and made a watertight bundle for his guns. But then unsure whether you’d even be able to get through the waterlogged area Dietrich decided to have a go at crawling. He m...

Bezahltag 18 th Sommerzeit Having buried the body of the hoodlum, you made your way back to Dunkelkiefer, and decided you needed to head west towards Wulfhaven, which was where Agnes had told you that Brambledown was going to sell the painting . You asked about getting to Wulfhaven before nightfall and you were told you wouldn’t be able to get across the Raven Hills in one day from here, especially having started out so late. So you decided that Gart’s Farm would be a good place to stop. You reached Gart’s Farm well before evening, and if you thought you were in some sort of chase, hot on the hills of your quarry, it felt m ore like you were on a leisurely stroll. But, not wanting to spend the night up on the hills was probably a wise call. Gart had a long chat with you about the Raven Hills, and his wife, Bessie, made you some food . You got the impression that travelling across the hills in small groups made you prone to attacks from goblins. So the locals usually waited for lar...

Marktag 16 th Sommerzeit Berta was in the middle of the flooded heath being pulled down into the water by mysterious dead hands. One of the hands tried to grab Balden, too, and it looked like he could not avoid it, but he gave a small prayer to the dark marsh spirits and that seemed to help. Berta couldn’t break the strong grip but Max grabbed her, and together they ripped her ankle free. And Dietrich could see that there were three sets of thin, dead-looking hands beneath the water. And so he tried to summon a spell to affect the dead, but he couldn’t manage it. And then you could all see, a few dozen yards across the water, what looked like three young women gesticulating angrily at you, and you soon realised they were dead, and it was pretty frightening. Once more they tried to grab Balden’s leg and this time they managed it. Berta stabbed her spade into the water and seemed to get a good hit on one of the limbs. But when she withdrew her spade, it seemed to have had no effect...

Marktag 8 th Sommerzeit You decided to try to get some work on a boat heading to Wrecker’s Point but after asking around a bit that turned out to be a bit harder than you thought, as it was a bit of a backwater and not many ships were going there. And then you looked around the Suiddock for any boat going east, probably to Salzenmund or Erengrad. You talked to the quartermaster of the Oso, and he gave you some friendly advice, telling you that although boats often needed labour, it would be hard for so many of you to find work on a single vessel. And captains didn’t generally make detours to drop off their casual labour for no reason. So in the end, you spoke to his captain, Wilma van der Vliet, and she said she would take you there but you had to pay six guilders each for your passage, and be expected to work, and pay her ten guilders for the lost time it would take the boat to detour to Wrecker’s Point. So you all agreed to pay this, and Max added it to his list of expenses that...
